    I was surprised by how overwhelming the vote for Slyza's post was. Really thought Greviousing would get the nod.

    Also if we just pool all the votes in Toys out of Pram by a mention of the guy in the vote (e.g. Mousey AND Skippos relationship) we get...

    Yeah and when you look at some of the stuff town managed in say GoT or SW1, it's pretty clear just how much the standards have been raised more than anything. Cock-ups there like Eddie being lynched was just met with "oh well, mcgrath's fault, nothing we could've done" whereas now they're met with "omg retarded town, what are they doing, it's so obvious".

    Not sure. It was retarded, but 99% of that was people believeing Athlai without question, regardless of what he said. Then when Tkp was lynched, what happened then got it's own award for retardedness.

    HP was far worse than LOTR. Lynching Speirz and Prez was terrible, for one, and this time it actually hurt the town.

    Yeah town getting the nod for LOTR II was all about Alex being MIA and the rest of town (that were alive) letting me off the hook far too long.

    Been far worse town performances but we're playing at a higher standard and its also in recent memory so it got the vote.

    I don't think GoT or Star Wars was that bad for the Town - only error in GoT was Klonam vigging on N1 (Athers was for different reasons), whereas in Star Wars the only error was McGrath not understanding his character was a major shunt.

    Also worth mentioning that LOTR II had the runner up worst maf performance in the mafia team, a few average games from the other mafiosa and still actually pushed it to the end.

    I don't think we nailed a proper Maf though - the ones that did die were NK.

    Yeah there wasn't a lot we could do, but we should've put up a fight at least.

    Lynching Eddie by McGrath's mistake simply would not happen now

    And then why was McGrath vigged? Why wasn't he given a chance to claim? Everyone just sort of assumed killing McGrath was inherently a good idea. When in fact he was outed as an insane cop, and so effectively another cop...

    Town's performance in LOTR II is worthy because when I got lynched everything was spelt out by Blunder and Teacups. We still somehow got to the last day.
