Can we get an annotation saying "Custard's Ok" ?

Himann clearly the best anyway. I think it's important for a good town player to keep a fairly low profile as if you're a good player, you need to survive to the end and give mafia very little reason to suspect you're OP. Directing town without dominating it is quite a skill, and it's one that I think Himann has. Blunder also a good call in this regard, I think.

  3. Athlai JJD Heads

7 people were nominated for best town player. Heef and Teacups tied with 4 votes each and Blunder was next on 3.

Himann suffered for the same reason he got high on the suss list. Some people find him randomly suspicious. Never really understood that.

Also the 4 way split for best supporting role was hilarious.

Had to go to Cribb as Marek though.

Howe reckoned I basically lead as Pippin, Cribb trolled as The Force and Baxter didn't actually pull the win in LOTR2. Mousey to rage.

Hrmm. That must be in games I haven't played then. I've never found Himann to be randomly suspicious. Cagey, yes. But everyone should be cagey.

  6. Riddy JH Ridd

no offense heef, but i still think blunder is the best overall.

  7. Athlai JJD Heads

It's a testament to how gun Eds Voldemort post was that it only dropped 3 votes and was by far the most one sided award.

The next best effort dropped 6 votes.

  8. Athlai JJD Heads

I'd say Blunder was hurt by being non-town more often than Heef. I haven't actually checked to see if that is correct but it just feels right.

  9. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Blimey. I shouldn't have to defend myself here, it's not as if I voted for myself.

  10. Eds E Ames

Blunder's most noticable performances have definitely been as non-town IMO. His Jabba the Hutt was almost perfect.

  11. Baxter MJ Deane

If I pulled the win in LOTR it should've gone down as an ATG performance. Athlai and I were so so boned once GF died and then for me to keep it going for as long as I did once Teacups died was a decent effort. Don't care if I'm blowing my own trumpet tbh. Athers' Leeroy Jenkins was terrific but I did put in the hard yards too

  12. Howe JHF Howe

It was so good people still think he was town :detective:

  13. Athlai JJD Heads

Yeah you were gun no doubt but Cribb was in a similar position and pulled out the win. I'd say skill wise yours was more impressive because now people play to a higher standard. That said if Alex hadn't been MIA you'd have had no chance at all.

  14. Athlai JJD Heads

    Interesting side note:

Skippos got votes for best town and also got votes for worst performance as town for Gandalf.
Blunder did the same for best 3rd party and worst performance as mafia/3rd party for "The Ring".

Wonder how they'd have done if not for those performances in the Best categories.

  15. Baxter MJ Deane

Alex being MIA ended up clearing him!

  16. Athlai JJD Heads

Yeah and that really twisted my tits at the end there.

Don't worry I'll vote for you next year.

  17. morgieb MC Burridge

    Good stuff.

Marek over-rated IMO. Doesn't take much skill to outargue Prez and Cevno.

  18. Eds E Ames

  19. morgieb MC Burridge

Granted Cribb was still good, but he probably couldn't have done it if it wasn't for Athers. But I suppose that was the definition of a supporting role anyway <_<

  20. morgieb MC Burridge

Honestly thought Eds > Athlai as Mafia, but maybe I'm thinking too hard.
