    McGuire out is so fucked. We’re just so short on middle third forwards these days. Arrow is gonna have to be blooded earlier than desired. He’s clearly a good’n but jeez we’ve lost a lot of experience with no JT, Cronk, Gillett, McGuire...

    I don’t see the point in that. It gives us less mobility and it means one less prop in our already struggling stocks. I’d much rather him come on fresh with Papalii/whoever to replace Scott and Napa.

    If we carry Morgan on the bench, which is looking likely, he can cover lock when Arrow needs a spell.

    Arrow is really good, everyone was sad to see him leave the Broncs, but I guess they viewed TPJ as the better prospect at lock. Got a really good offload on him too, people were calling him the next Parker before he made his debut. There seems to be another clone of him coming through too, Patrick Carrigan.

    Yeah it was clear how much potential Arrow had. Since getting his chance at the Titans, he’s demonstrated what a player he is. Kid is green but we can’t afford to not pick a middle third forward hitting 150m and 30 tackles a game.

    One of the few decent things done in recruitment by the Broncos. TPJ has the potential to be the best player in the game. I'd be trying to lock him in to a 5+ year deal.

    Jeez I’m worried about the officiating going into Origin this year. If they ref it anything like the way they have been regular NRL matches, it’s not gonna be pretty. We can’t have 25 penalties and random sin binnings. It’ll destroy the contest.

    Ponga is a freak. 20 years old and he’s 1st for line break assists, which is amazing for a fullback. 2nd for tackle breaks and kick return metres. 3rd for try assists. Only 9 rounds in but imo he’s been the best fullback so far this year.

    No doubt. Daylight second IMO.

    But yeah I'd not want to play him anywhere other than fullback, and dropping Slater would be ridiculous, so no spot for him yet. As a NSW fan I'd be happy if Queensland picked him on the bench and made him defend in the forwards.
