    Oh yeah?

........how did your understanding come up with that one.

Neither Hoffman or his manager have even asked for a release......yet.

Gotta love the ego of Broncos supporters, especially when you live up here.

From what I've read, it certainly seems like he is going.

The players will be household names!

  5. Julian BJ Taylor

The junior NSW and Kangaroos halfback will come in at some point yeah. Has a lot more to do with Campese being a five-eighth than McCrone being useless though.

The squad looks good in isolation to me too, but it's worse than the squad for this year and they were rubbish this year. A lot of their players will need to play a lot closer to their potential this year (or get injured less) for them to do anything.

Brisbane are really hard to say for mine. I'm not going to stick my neck out. I certainly don't think assuming that axing Wallace and Prince and replacing them with entirely unknown quantities is something you can say will definitely improve the side. If Barba plays five-eighth for any real length of time then they'll miss the eight IMO - I'll stick my neck out that far at least. Much less easy to say with Strausser or Taylor or any other unproven halves they've got because they could obviously go either way, but it's a massive stretch to just say you think they'll be a significant improvement if you haven't seen much of them.

Brisbane played so far below what their roster implied though. And even that along with the injuries saw them miss the 8 by one win and a draw.

I reckon you can coach just about anyone with a semi-non pathetic kicking game to play the Peter Wallace role. Even fucking Peter Wallace.

What's your choice of drink lads?

PM your addresses too cause I'm assuming all you cunts live in QLD, so I'll get them delivered by the end of the week.

You must rate Williams and Widdop a lot higher than what we do. Are you backing the Dragons to make the 8?

I'd take Williams/Widdop as a halves combination ahead of Hunt/TBA any day of the week. Brisbane will do better than St George IMO but the St George halves will not be where they fall over in that comparison as long as they actually do pick their best two halves.

So would I. I'm not making a comparison between them. I'm just trying to gauge how much difference Magic thinks they'll make to the Dragons.

Brisbane have St. George beaten practically everywhere except the halves IMO. That's the comparison I'm making.

    Fair enough.

I just rate their whole squad higher tbh.

I think Josh Dugan & Trent Merrin are absolute beasts at First Grade level, Williams adds some class at halfback & they've got a decent number 9. That's already a better starting base to build off than what Brisbane have.

Thompson & Widdop are solid pick ups, putting aside what they paid for Widdop for one second.

I'm predicting big improvements in Stockwell, De Bellin & Runciman after the experience they gained last year and based on their performances. The only player I can really say that about in the Broncos squad team is Oates and even then Thaiday & Gillett will probably starve him of a decent opportunity at his best position. I expect Garby & Bird to play bit part roles for them this year but both will be impressive.

Creagh's move to the front row was very promising and their outside backs just look far more settled and proven in First Grade. Just so much more to like about their squad.

Brisbane will need the 2012 Barba minus his poor defence if they're to do anything in 2014.

I really rate Runciman as a young player but in signing a few extra mediocre outside backs (Farrell, Mata'utia and I think someone else I'm forgetting, plus the possibility of Thompson moving back there) he may miss out on a spot, which would be disappointing.

    Forgot they had Beale too, you might be right;

    1. Dugan
    2. Nightingale
    3. Farrell
    4. Beale
    5. Morris

Is still a strong backline, would just drop Farrell though tbh.

 Dragons quite clearly read Cricsim

I'd be interested to see who wins the spoon, obviously Parra and Tigers have a shot but the Tigs are a bit of an unknown given their younger guys and Parra have to improve some day....

I don't rate runciman at all
