    I'm not talking about his knee injury that happened this year I'm talking about his foot injury that happened 2-3 years ago that nearly forced him into an early retirement.

    Yeh same, had really high hopes for him.

    Ah I see. Well, as we know, serious leg injuries can take a long time to overcome. Josh Hoffman and Matt Bowen are perfect examples of that. If he re-breaks that bone, apparently, it can be irreparable. That would account for his tentativeness. Based on this year his confidence seems to be coming back though IMO.

    He was very poor this year, to the point where he probably deserved to be dropped mid-season if not for the fact that we were down a few props at the time. By the end of the season he'd pretty much been relegated to 6th or 7th choice behind JWH, Moa, LOD, FPN, Liu & Napa.

    He averaged a penalty every 45 minutes in comparison to JWH who averaged a penalty every 62mins & LOD who averaged a penalty every 82 minutes.

    I'm surprised you of all people are such a staunch advocate...

    Hardly a staunch advocate. Moa is someone of whom I am a staunch advocate. I wasn't saying Kennedy should be picked in a rep side, after all. In fact I agreed with you earlier this year that his being named 18th man for QLD was a sign of the dearth of depth in our front row beyond our big names (Scott, Shillington, Hannant, Myles etc). There is a chasm between them and blokes like Kennedy.

    However, that he is a quality FGer is not in doubt afaic. He should be a weapon for us off the bench and come Origin time will be quite valuable IMO. I thought he had a good start to the year and played some quality games at different times later on but yes he has some shit to work on. And we did probably pay overs for him. But he's a much, much better bench prop than the muppets we've had for the last few years.

    Magic really should be made to buy everyone on here a carton for saying McCrone is not far from being a top quality halfback and would be an improvement to the Broncos halves. This along with supporting the Prince signing; perhaps you should stick to worrying about your own mob.
