    Bullshit.

You're right it's clearly not derogative. :whistling:

I've got no issue with it, most cunts (including myslef) on here are wankers and often speak in such a pretentious way, you get used to it. It's Cricsim's charm.

Just don't be in denial about it because you can never accept being wrong about something. Embrace it.

Fair enough, if you such an affection of the term I shall call you that from now on. Deal?

    @ Magic

Honestly dunno whether you're trolling or just plain stupid sometimes. There's no malice in the word the way I used it, only in the intent of the sentence itself. If I said that to Jaz, or Gemmell or a dozen other people on here they wouldn't even bat an eye about the use of "cunt" in that instance and they sure as shit wouldn't turn it into an argument by itself.

Again, someone whose been around this long should be able to make such a trivial distinction.

In the way I used it? Could not possibly care less.

It's rather different, however, from saying "Cunt said so and so." Or "Did you see Cunt the other day?" I'm sure you see the difference.

  6. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

lol, based on the other thread, which I've just read, clearly you don't. What am I to do with stupidity like this?

  7. Mr Chook MR Chook

IMO there is no worse term to describe someone and despite what you think, the majority of people would be offended by being called that.

Don't worry, I won't carry on with that shit....unless of course you choose to, where as I said earlier, I'll return serve.

Happy to drop it if you are, and we'll derail the thread no longer.

Jaz & Boobidy are used to the derogative comments, like I said it's the charm of this place. Doesn't mean they're not derogative though just because they're accepted & no one bats an eye about it. I also don't bat an eye at a lot of Boobidy's jokes but that also doesn't mean they're not racist or sexist.

You're so blatantly wrong it's getting sad now.

I really couldn't care else what cunts call other cunts on this place but to sit their with a straight face and pretend that just because it's accepted means it's not derogative is laughable. Of course it fucking is, who cares should be the real discussion we're having. Cricsim has never been known for its politeness so Mr Chook just needs to learn to grow some thicker skin.

  9. Mr Chook MR Chook

Thin skinned? yeah maybe, but if shit is flung my way I'll always scoop it up and fling it back harder.

  10. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Object to the content and meaning of the sentence by all means. There was malice in the sentence. Don't have a hissy fit about a word that had no malice behind it.

  11. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

I'm not gonna stop using it in that context. If you want to equate it with your choice to forevermore refer to me as "The Cunt" that's your business, but it's in no way similar.

  12. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Oh please. What a ridiculous comparison. The difference is in the intent, you goose. We don't bat an eye at Gemmell because he actually is a flagrant racist and sexist and we're all used to not just his comments but the intention behind them. Jaz doesn't bat an eye because apart from also being used to the vernacular he and everybody else knows I'm not using it in the sort of malicious way that Chook is claiming.

Yes it's derogatory. It's about as derogatory as using "gay" in the way that everyone under 30 does. I could've put into that original sentence "clown" or "people" and it would not have changed one iota in intent. There's more malice in Cribb's self-deprecating thread entitled "Am I A Cunt For..."

But go on, keep telling me what I actually meant, Magic. You're good at that.

Good game for the anti ref fuel. Refs once again deciding the outcome of a game (though involuntary...probably), and had the rules explained to them by a player. Same incident for both things.

  14. Magic AJ Parker

That was more just unfortunate than anything else though.

All the big talking points surrounding this game lie with the rule makers not the blokes enforcing them.

  15. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

He's very lucky too. As a referee you're allowed to make discretionary mistakes but an error on law will not be tolerated. Hayne was dropped quite a few years ago for one of these neutral infringements in which he gave the feed to the wrong side.

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

The idea that, with two refs on the field now, that if I as a dummy-half threw a pass into the pocket ref 10m out from my own line, the other side gets the ball.

  17. Tartmaster AJ James

As much as I defend MFs use of the word cunt.

Him complaining about someone telling him what he meant is hilarious considering that was MFs thing for ages.

  18. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

I only say it to Magic because he always used to criticise me for doing so. He does it plenty as well.

    You're both nit-picking gay cunts
