Josh Jackson has amazingly escaped a charge.

Paul Green should be asking for a refund of his fine.

Guerra would be saying WTF too. Didn't see much difference between his chicken wing and Jackson's.

  3. Toolman TR Man

That was the worst chicken wing I've seen this season :/

  4. Hunter AD Hunt

    Typical of the judiciary really.

  5. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Guerra's? Agree if so.

  6. Toolman TR Man

Don't even remember Guerra's... guess I really am biased.

Every single one I remember seeing this year was just an accident.. Jackson's one though he really pushed down on it, it didn't look good.

  8. Tartmaster AJ James

Jackson was nothing compared to most of them this season.

Based on precedent, Jackson, had to be suspended for at least one match in my opinion. I don't think it was that bad personally, but I think that about the vast majority of suspensions in the game these days.

Yet if it dislocated his shoulder, he'd be gone for 6 weeks or something.

  11. Tartmaster AJ James

Yeah I think 1 week would've been fair, especially since he has carryover points.

But as far as chicken wings go, it wasn't that bad.

  12. Julian BJ Taylor

    Agree with this 100%

It was definitely on the lower scale of 'chicken wings' but players need to be more self-aware if we're going to bring wrestling coaches into the game.

If anyone misses a Grand Final because of a grade 1 charge coming out of these prelim finals shit is going to hit the fan.

Which is why I've long favoured suspended suspensions, if you will. Suspended sentences, as they say. 1 or 2 week suspensions should not see you miss a grand final especially in the hyper-sensitive, super-strict climate of the MRC and the judiciary.
