    Really think they should cash in and replace him with Bale. They've still got RVP, Hernandez and Welbeck, so they certainly wouldn't be short. I don't see what other option they have if he does want to leave, really. They're not just going to let him run his contract down, surely?

    However people thought we looked today, at the start of the game it showed how much more attacking it was in general having 2 strikers actually playing as strikers, rather than having one constantly at the level of the deepest midfielder

    Id be alright with cashing in for a decent amount IF we could get a decent replacement

    i really rate rooney. united should only sell if they have to (he 100% wants to go).

    dont forget what happened in 2010. he had a big say in this team as it is now.

    Last time he wanted to leave because we weren't buying top players apparently. This time he wants to leave because there are too many top players and he isn't the main man anymore.

    His performances haven't been worth the hassle and his massive wage this season. Think we should get rid this time and just milk whoever wants to buy him for the maximum.

    Change of scenery outside the country might be good for him too.

    Didn't seem the Old Rooney jumping around during the parade yesterday.

    Seems so far Moyes wants him to stay though. Will be interesting what happens here.

    Mourinho and Rooney together somewhere should fit well. Both Drama Queens. :p

    Firstly he wanted to leave because he said we wern't signing enough good players. This time around hes had a strop because we've signed/ looking to sign too many good players and now hes not guaranteed to be the poster boy. So hes trying to cause a fuss which will either

    1. Get him more noise/newspaper inches
    2. Get him more money in a new deal
    3. Get him to a new club where he can be a poster boy
