This is honestly the biggest peice of rubbish I've ever read. So your saying that John Terry goes into a match knowing he will get away with it. If so slap yourself for me. I'm sure he has bigger problems to deal with, it can happen to any defender but by saying they purposely do it, it makes you look like a big idiot that has absolutely no idea about soccer.

Unless you pass your way around them like Barca did. Exceptional example, but definitely reckon they'd struggle a lot more in a continental league. That said, they do what's required of them domestically above comparison.

Nitpicking something like that when there's the scourge that is diving in the game is a bit ridiculous as well. Fair play to a defender getting one back on an attacker who is likely to fall over any sliding challenge coming in at him.

Exactly, I just lol that he thinks it's done purposely. I don't think anyone goes into a match knowing there going to get away with certain things. Unless your C. Ronaldo Of course, then cockyness takes over.

Ye easily. This is why I dont think United will be too greatly affected by Ronaldo leaving. the bedrock of the United team over the past 3 seasons has been their defence. Apart from a shaky patch earlier in the year United have had the ebst defencive record in the EPL by a long way, and that is far more important than have hundreds of goal scorers. Add to that the defensive abilities of Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson and Hargreaves and we become an invulnerable wall.

Upfront whilst we wont have Ronaldos 30-40 goals this season, I can see Rooney adn Berbatov getting 10 more than they did last season each, and 15 from Owen. Plus Valencia/whoever plays wing instead of Ronaldo will score a few too so the goals will come.

United won't play the same way they have recently, Fergies already said tha. We will get balls into the box now.

This is why I dont think teams such as City will be really succesful this season.

    Well someone sounds biased

Thinking Ronaldo knows he will get away with it (which he did, im not gonna pretend he didnt)
But thinking that your precious terry wouldnt do anything wrong at all.
What about when that player (forgot who) beat him and Terry lunged and grabbed him by the waste and didnt get anything. Is he not in the wrong their. Of course he goes out knowing he will be able to get away with a few more things than other teams, most players from the big 4 clubs know it, thinking otherwise makes you a biased tool.

God I hate Arsenal and Chelsea fans. I mean even some liverpool fans can accept that gerrard dives a bit and that sometimes there other players are in the wrong. But London fans seem to not accept when any of their players go against the rules.

And lastly the fact that you called it soccer means you have no clue about it.

will be interesting to see how he adapts to the more physical premiership...

    Have you seen Aquiliani play?

Yes. Else I wouldn't make a comment like that.
    Different types of player tbh.

At least Rafa has acted quickly in getting a replacement. I can't really judge him because i've seen very little of him.

It's always a gamble spending big on a player who has no experience in the Premier League but Rafa normally doesn't go wrong when he buys a player for the spine of the team and when he spends big except Keane last summer.

I'd still like a new LW and a new CF but can't see it happening now.

This means we have at least £10 million left for the Xabi sell. £3.5 milion from Arbeloa and maybe £4/5 million from Dossena.

My main concerns will be over him remaining fit. And he will have to adapt to the physical nature of the game here.

Biased? I support Fulham FFS not chelsea. I'm just saying Terry doesn't go into a game to intentially hand ball it. Enough said, your such an unknowledgeable tool. You can't compare Ronaldo to Terry, ronaldo is cocky and Terrys not. Go do some research before you start talking garbage. When someone gets around you as a defender your first reaction is to bring them down and by saying Terry is the only one who did it, it makes you look stupid because I've seen hundreds of different players do it. You must watch every game every week? Because if you don't you should really start zipping your mouth on this situation.
