Was it bird the one who was in the blindside, alot getting the ball aswell

How can a player "be in the blindside"?

  3. azzal AJ O'Neill

when there was a short side on the left was it him getting alot of that ball?

  4. Howsie DP Howell

Nope, definitely not. He deserves a crack but my thinking is much the same as yours. Powderpuff at the next level IMO.

  5. Lukic L Popovic

Yeah, then Scott in for Creagh since Bird will be on the left.

  6. Cribbage RG Cribb

Which is why I wouldn't put him in the front row.

  7. Lukic L Popovic

To an extent, I agree with Wilson.

He's worth trying though I still think. Just tell him to not worry about playing large minutes and just absolutely spend himself in say the first 20, you know, 20+ tackles and 8 or 9 hit ups.

We need reliable props who at least will get some work done in the opening exchanges.

Gallen and Tolman would give us that.

Anywhere else though and he'd be pathetic. Imagine tolman off the bench :yucky:

What about Hindmarsh at lock instead?

  9. SM MD Dorn

Hughesy's post lacked Sandor Earl for a wing spot

  10. Cribbage RG Cribb

Would be my second choice, but his hit-ups are even less effective than Tolman's.

  11. Wilson SB Wilson

If you were going to get him to go all out in the first 20 minutes and do 20 tackles and 9 hitups. You're better off picking a front rower with more sting in and attack and defence, and I can name 10 of them.

  12. Wilson SB Wilson

I think Fensom should be the lock tbh.

  13. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

Hindmarsh's attack is under rated, it's no where near as bad as cunts make out.

If he started hitting the front runner when he ball plays he'd be hailed a genius, the biggest hole always opens up but the coach must them to play outside.

  14. Cribbage RG Cribb

Would say the same for Tolman tbh.

  15. Wilson SB Wilson

Fensom is the more improved, younger version of Hindmarsh. Does some great work in attack and his defence speaks for himself.

  16. Wilson SB Wilson

Nah, Tolman is just really dull. His attack is good enough for club level but would be found out in Origin.

  17. morgieb MC Burridge

    Hayne
    Gordon
    Gasnier
Lewis (Jennings as they won't pick him there)
    Uate
    Carney (Soward)
    Soward (Pearce)
    Tolman
    Farah (Buderus?)
    Gallen
    Scott
    Watmough
    Bird

    Mannah
    TLL
    Gidley
    Creagh (Lewis)

  18. Wilson SB Wilson

    That is one shit team.

  19. azzal AJ O'Neill

    AWTA.

  20. Magic AJ Parker

    1. Josh Dugan
    2. Michael Gordon
    3. Jaryd Hayne
    4. Mark Gasnier
    5. Akuila Uate
    6. Jamie Soward
    7. Mitchell Pearce
    8. Aiden Tolman
    9. Robbie Farah
    10. Paul Gallen
    11. Greg Bird
    12. Beau Scott
    13. Anthony Watmough

    14. TLL
    15. Mannah
    16. Lewis
    17. Gidley

Only position I'd have open for discussion is Gasnier's, be interested to see how Idris goes at the Titans. Possibly even Champion or Lawrence, not really fussed about left side/right side and Jennings will be up there.

Pearce retains his spot pretty easily for me, 2 out of 3 good games is enough for a 22 year old halfback regardless of what his last name is. Same goes for Soward even if people believe he's a lesser player to Carney or Campese he did more than enough to retain his spot, also played 2 out of 3 good games imo.

Picked 4 props with the thuoght of Gallen moving back to lock at some stage in the game. I thought Watmough was yet again great in this series, it surely has to start counting for something...

    Dugan/Bird/Hayne/Gordon that's a really strong left fringe.
