If the Panthers lose Civo and Lewis they're nothing.

 far from it tbh, we have awsome juniors and in a way. They're both great players but i am confident that we could fill their positions.

    So do the Tigers....

I never said anything about the Tigers.

EDIT: But in saying that, generally Panthers > Tigers in terms of the quality of the juniors.

Yeah, Penrith probably has the best juniors in all the comp tbh.

  6. Frizzed WC Welker

Penrith definitely have the best juniors.

    msn ****.

    well bascially.
Civoniceva goes Bell replaces followed by McKendry, Laurie, Plum, Sweeney before having to get anyone else.
Lewis goes Smith, Paulo, Cooper, Waterhouse can move there etc.
Wingers are much the same. Any place lacking depth is the halves but that is the same with most teams.

BTW the only Tiger I like as a junior is Andrew Fifita. Farah is relied on too much same with Marshall. Penrith involve all their players more and it isn't a one man show. It was a little bit last year but it has improved to be a team effort.

The Tigers outside of Benji and Farah stack up alright against the rest of the comp.

Tuqiri, Lawrence, Galloway, Ellis, Heighington, Gibbs, Fulton, Ryan and Moltzen are not slouches by any means. Would walk into the majority of first grade sides.

If those players come to Penrith the players that would get into the team would be: Lawrence, Tuqiri and Galloway. The rest are touch and go and probably would play for Windsor, Gareth Ellis is probably also a name that would be in the team.

What I am really talking about though is that if Marshall and Farah were gone who do they have to replace them. Nothing. Lui is alright but not proven in the NRL yet.

  11. Cribbage RG Cribb

Haha, there is no way Chris Heighington would miss out on any NRL team.

I also think the "if you take out their best two players they aren't as good" call is a bit harsh as a comparative criticism too, because not only is it irrelevant (the Tigers aren't required to win without their best two players) but it applies to every single team anyway.

I don't really rate the Tigers but your arguments are pretty dire.

  12. Lukic L Popovic

Should tbh. One of the better teams in the comps easily. Lack of an organizing half argument is so dire.

Lui should not play NRL again this year.

Tbh, only Gordon, Jennings, Walsh, Lewis, Civo and Pritchard would make the Tigers team.

If you merged the two, it would be a majority of Tigers.

    Probably something like:

    1. Gordon
    2. Tuqiri
    3. Jennings
    4. Lawrence
    5. Tuiaki
    6. Marshall
    7. Walsh
    8. Gibbs
    9. Farah
    10. Civoniceva
    11. Ellis
    12. Heihgington
    13. Lewis

    14. Galloway
    15. Pritchard
    16. Payten
    17. Moltzen

Chris Heighington would probably walk into Penrith's team as well. I never said anything about lacking an organising half. I for one actually think the Tigers organisation on the footy field is very good.
My point and you seem to be missing it is IF Marshall and Farah were out of the team for at least 2 weeks who would come in and would the Tigers be the same team?

I know for Penrith, their spine isn't great but they would still get similar results if Luke Walsh was injured at the same time as Kevin Kingston. There would be a reshuffle and it would turn out to be Masada Iosefa at hooker, Wade Graham at halfback and Travis Burns 5/8. That works and would still win games. The Tigers have the players to win games but without Farah particularly at any given time they are nothing. His kicks from Dummy half always seems to be the difference.

Reasonable team but I reckon you should swap Ellis and Pritchard over. Also think McKendry should be on the bench instead of Moltzen. Depending on team tactics of course but McKendry has been great so far this year and is a pretty good impact player.

  16. Lukic L Popovic

Farah's a shit kicker tbh lol.

And, the organisation was directed at Cribb more than you.
And Penrifffff would struggle with 6. Burns 7. Graham, Graham ain't a halfback and Burns simply isn't a good 6. He's a ball playing lock.

  17. Lukic L Popovic

Nah, Ellis is a good 80 min player.

Pritchard is a gun impact player to come on for Heighno.

  18. Speirz DG Speirs

    Waterhouse tbh.

  19. Lukic L Popovic

Oh shit, forgot about him because of injury. Definitely would make it.

    Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Probably put him in Payten's spot or in the 2nd row and Heighno to the bench?

Probably is that there are too many 80 minute players in both backrows.

  20. Cribbage RG Cribb

Waterhouse would be in the team!
