    Glad that when I return to this thread I see some reasonable posts which I agree with :)

    Should make it clear, i've never said McDonnell is or will be a god, I just said so far this season even he has been better than Coote. He has shown the qualities of trying hard also, been very solid.

    Once again I should admit I'm biased against Coote ever since the Wolfman made him look like a bitch;

    He lacks a step or two of pace, personally used to prefer Sammut at fullback before his abysmal dig at the back last season.



    That said of course he's maturing into a good looking prospect, doesn't seem to have the tools to be a major player on the rep scene though.

    Agree with the last several posts.

    I think he'll end up being just a real solid kinda club man, depends how much his playmaking develops and get's involved with that.

    But will never go further than playing for Country.
