    I'm not convinced any of them will. Most of them are completely fucked IMO, having either started too poorly or just not being capable squad-wise of actually playing any better than they have so far.

    Cowboys obviously have the squad to turn it around and make it if they play to their potential, but I'm definitely losing faith in that - they probably won't make it now. Canberra are a chance. Newcastle were a chance with Pearce but are fucked now. Rest are fucked IMO.

    I tipped Brisbane to miss the eight at the start of the season, and they've been worse than I expected, so I'd be weird for me to think they were a chance.

    This season is kinda weird though. They could be even worse than I was expecting but still make the eight due to Parramatta, North Queensland, Cronulla etc being sooo much worse than I was expecting.

    How have Penrith been going? From what I've seen pretty average but just keep running teams down and doing enough to win without being convincing.

    Brisbanw have genuinely been garbage to me. They should be closer to the spoon than the 8.

    They've been pretty dire for a few weeks but winning anyway. I think it's basically fine for them to be doing that though because of the injuries they've copped. Getting the points on the ladder now should be enough for now, with Cleary still to come back in. To be fair though most of their other injuries have been season-ending so maybe they're in more trouble than I assumed.
