They have a good team, and a good manager. Can see them makin Europe.

I think it will between Spurs, Everton, Villa and Man City for the Europa cup places next year. Can't see Fulham having another excellent season and these 4 clubs will be buying some quality players in the summer

    Or all equally shit,.

I can see tottenham having a rubbish season next year, i realy hope they come bottom half. I would love to see Everton and Aston Villa pushing for the champions league spots again but i can't see how they can get through tbh

  5. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Everton got a better chance than Villa... better team.

Villa hit good form, then died off.

  6. Harvez HJ Hebditch

Just because they have too less depth in their squad.. at the start of the season when agbonlahor and young were fresh they were gun but later on in the season tthey started to tire and that shew in the results. Aston villa & everton need to get a bit more depth in there sides now tbh..

  7. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Ye I agree... it is such an important factor.

All depends on whether they keep Young and Barry... wouldn't be surprised at all if YOung went to a biger club.

  8. Eds E Ames

Young, I want him to stay. Always plays, good for England tbh. Same with Barry...

  9. Harvez HJ Hebditch

Yeah if young went to a 'bigger' club then he would not get played, just like when jermaine pennant had the same ability and went to liverpool and was on the bench almost every game. Young just has to be patient and also Agbonlahor.

I like Young but his price tag is too high for any of the big 4 to make a bid for him.

  11. Arheiner SIA Yates

That's the point, they want to stop the offers so he can't leave and if he wants to, no-one will take him. Either that or O'Neill has finally lost his mind.

This thread should be merged with the 09 one and renamed. It's unneccessary.

Mark my words: Sunderland won't be relegation strugglers next season.

They proved in their first season what they can do and they have the resources to make the top 10 ... this is without even mentioning the rumours that a Texan billionaire is about to take over the club and give them a 200 million pound transfer budget.

    Tottenham?! LOL.

I actually think they will do a hell of a lot better next season and make 5th or 6th under Redknapp who is, IMO, the best coach outside the Big Four. But 2nd is just lol'able.

Not really. I have a massive soft spot for Portsmouth, though, if that counts.

  15. Stormer BH Borisc

5th or 6th isnt that much better than 8th.

    Here's my first up tip.....

    Bolton to get relegated IMO

  17. Bibu07 BI Immanuel

Pool/Blues to win, United to be 2nd. Tottenham imo 4th or so.

  18. Bibu07 BI Immanuel

    i think that's sensible.

United's season will hang entirely on the transfer window...

How Sir Alex goes will pretty much determine their season there and then

  20. Bibu07 BI Immanuel

Chelsea's season is also at stake at Transfer window. I think the only top club which is not going to show much interest in transfer window is Everton.
