Its going to be an exciting season just to see who gets relegated, I reckon and even bigger fight this season with Burnley (who should come last...note i said SHOULD) Birmingham (who have a few class players, but also some really weak positions), Wolves (who have the most chance of survival out of the 3 promoted clubs, but even if they do go down will be a much better team for it), Bolton, Stoke, Hull, Sunderland, Blackburn and Portsmouth. Also can't wait to see which of the 8000 players linked with tottenham will actually be signed haha
Portsmout won't get relegated. Not with the amount of money they now have. Would be quite funny though. First things first, they should improve Fratten Park... ****ing shithole.
I dunno, they have been in a bad way of late, i admit they shouldnt be relegated but at some stage in the season i reckon they will have to fight to stay out of the relegation battle
still got a couple of months left...doubt any major signings will come through for atleast a couple of weeks. Towards the end of the windo is usually when the shuffling of players really starts
Ye they have Nugent now, and he's shit. They need to strenghten their defence and get another striker. Their midfield is alright. Nothing special however.
theyve had Nugent for a while now...but theyve never HAD to play until now, unfornately for them. TBH i think they are better off playing Utaka than Nugent. actually...maybe they should just buy someone new. i just saw scholes was linked with stoke? is this for real haha
Buddy, I guarantee you Portsmouth, Sunderland and Blackburn won't be down there. Sunderland (and now Portsmouth) have the money to be competitive and stay in the upper mid-table, while Blackburn will benefit from the management of Sam Allardyce who is one of the best outside of the Big Four, IMO. Next season, the relegation contenders will be IMO: Wolves Birmingham Burnley Hull Stoke West Ham (if they continue to struggle financially) Bolton The survival of Hull and Stoke will depend on their summer signings. I think Bolton have enough about them to survive for another season though, even though Elmander has been somewhat of a flop and there are clubs beating down the door to buy the likes of Jaaskaleinen and Cahill.
Nah I don't think so. Even now, Portsmouth's team has far more quality about them... notwithstanding the money that will come rolling in when Sheikh Sulaiman buys the club.
Noway would Scholes leave United, unless he was retiring. He has one year left on his contract anyway so I don't see why he would.
Lol, **** off, what a dire statement. Hull will be in the bottom 5 next year. Portsmouth should be top 10. With a huge influx in money, and hopefully a stable manager, unlike the 5 they had this season, added to the fact they finished 8th last season. They aren't touching Fratton Park. They are already in the process of building a new stadium, Solent Stadium. 36000 - 40000 people I believe.
