Show a bit of respect cunt, that's captain Woods.

I must be in the fucking twilight zone if James and Trbojevic are getting starts and Merrin can't even crack the bench.

    You cunts are kidding.

I'm a big fan of Merrin; wouldn't have dropped him this year and I think he should be a cert next year with Gallen gone.

lol I was just about to make a post about how one of the real positives out of this series for NSW was that they have finally addressed the ongoing turnstyle of mediocre second rowers after having seen real strong performances from Cordner in Game 1 & Frizell in Game 2.

*Did see the oversight on Cordner comment after posting this.

Who is better? And don't say Inglis cuz the cunt is too lazy to be a winger these days.

Well Boyd obviously. Look I like Oates but there's no fucking way we're dropping Gagai so he can switch sides. That's ridiculous. Gagai's been there the last three games and has been excellent.

Why dont you you just say you don't want Slater back and that you want Boyd at FB and Oates on the wing? That's clearly what you're hoping for.

I'm bias for Broncos because I think Oates is the best winger, not Boyd, another Bronco?

Boyd has had more success than Oates on the wing, but Oates has shown week in week out he is all quality with his finishing, strength defending bombs, and ability to make good metres out of his own end with a strong play the ball because they rarely get him on his back. Boyd has shown he has good positioning outside of Inglis.

I hope Slater makes it back to his best, but I doubt he will ever play again. If he does, Boyd and Oates would be my wingers.

I think I actually agree with Gemmell tbh.

I'd have severe doubts on Oates switching sides for origin though. I think Slater's done for mine but having said that injuries do occur and maybe that'll get him back in. We are actually beginning to get some strength in the outside backs. At full strength we have 10 outside backs that I'd be comfortable to call upon - Boyd, Slater, Munster, Gagai, Holmes, Oates, Feldt, O'Neill, Inglis, Chambers.

Yeah I'd make Boyd switch instead, and he'd be fine IMO.

If you're willing to drop Gagai and play Oates out of position on the right so that both he and Boyd can be in the side, yes.

Gagai has shown just as much as Oates if not more in Origin so far.

You must really think Oates is drastically better than Gagai to warrant moving Boyd out of position. He's not imo. Not remotely.

I think Gagai's been our best outside back this series.

It's true we're pretty loyal but once you're out of the team, club form becomes much more important to these selectors. Especially between series. Gagai was only picked in Game 3 last year because Slater was out and there had to be a reshuffle. Yet he was almost certainly going to be overlooked for Game 1 before Feldt did a Paul Carige.

With Chambers, Munster and Holmes actually available for selection I doubt O'Neill will even play Origin again after this year. If he's not in the side next year, which he won't be without injuries, he'll end up as another Dane Nielsen.

Slater's going to be 34 coming off multiple season ending injuries.

There's no way he's going to be origin standard.

His age is irrelevant. He was the sharpest player on the field in round 1 after they botched his first op. If the prognosis of full recovery after 10 months is accurate, there's no reason why he can't play Origin again.

Yeah I don't see Slater ever playing rep footy again.

Fuck I hope the selectors start watching Raiders games. Vaughan is just about my first prop picked.

But you said Boyd was better than Oates, not Gagai.
I think Oates is much better on the wing than both Gagai and Boyd. So he gets first crack at his spot which is left wing. Boyd is better, and deserves a spot more than Gagai, so he takes his spot on the right wing.

Stop being an attack junkie because Gagai has scored plenty of tries. Did you notice how many times he was out of position when defending? You must have, you posted a picture of it when defending Maloney.
I don't see Slater ever playing NRL again.

Er yeah. And you scratched around looking for ways to ensure both Boyd and Oates are there even if it means playing them out of position.

Oates isn't better than Boyd on the wing.

He was also in position a fair few times to stop potential line breaks and tries. I'm well aware of his positional issues. Oates has a few as well. Like being out of position in attack a few times outside Inglis.

Boyd played right wing for the Broncos in his early days, without putting any research into it all, I reckon he has played just as many games on the right wing as he has on the left, so stop saying Boyd on the right is out of position.
Are you using the time Oates took the 3rd hitup out of our own end, and then they decided to go left on the 4th? Hardly his fault.

Please tell me how Boyd is a better winger? I've listed reasons as why I think Oates is, all you keep saying is "Boyd is better"
