lol as if we're going to put Slater on the wing.

  2. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Slater
    Boyd
    Inglis
    Chambers
    Oates

Didn't think it needed to be explained.

  3. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Yeah that doesn't make sense either. They're not gonna put Oates on the right and drop Gagai.

  4. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Then put Boyd on the right. Walters has already come out and said Boyd has fullback locked down no matter what anyway, so it's not really up for discussion.

Walters is talking absolute smack. As if a fully fit Slater won't be playing fullback next series - he can't play anywhere else. Darius has played well, he's set up a few tries and made few mistakes but fuck me it's not like he's set the world on fire, and this is the bloke in his prime. I'd be very surprised if Inglis lasts another series to be honest.

  6. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

That's retarded. If Slater is fit and playing well, Boyd goes back and Oates drops out.

  7. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Dropping Oates would be retarded. He is the best winger QLD have.

  8. Magic AJ Parker

Everyone knows Cam Smith runs the team, Walters is just an empty suit.

If Billy Slater gets anywhere back to his best and it's a huge, largely improbable if then he'll be the number 1 for QLD.

Ugh. God you speak shit when it comes to Broncos players. How can you possibly say that with a straight face?

It's going to be very interesting to see the make-up of NSW's pack next year. No Gallen, Bird will probably go. Even Farah might not be here. Trent Merrin is a must, for mine. Despite his lukewarm performances for NSW in the past, he's clearly one of the best middle-third players in the game. Fuck knows what you do with Tamou given he's played more average or poor games than good ones in Origin. Yet he's still clearly one of the best props in the state. He needs to step the fuck up because he's not Brett White. He's more than capable of playing well in Origin as he has in the past.

If they're going to start fresh (no Bird, Gallen etc.) here's what I'd like to see.

    8.Woods
    9.Ennis
    10.Tamou
    11.Graham
    12.Cartwright
    13.Merrin

    14.Peachey
    15.Klemmer
    16.Vaughan
    17.Frizell

  11. Julian BJ Taylor

I reckon that's a fucking rubbish go that pack.

  12. Julian BJ Taylor

    Woods
    Peats
    James
    Cordner
    Frizell
    Trbojevic/Bird

    Klemmer
    Vaughan/Paulo
    Cartwright
    **utility**

Retaining Tamou would be such madness, he's cooked.

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

lol okay I may have totally forgotten Cordner :p He's gotta be there obviously.

I don't know how you leave Merrin out.

  15. Farhat AM Farhat

    Harsh on Cordner & Jackson.

Edit: In response to MFs forward pack. Was in this page for 10mins whilst watching TV.

Yeah that was a mere oversight on my part. I'm a pretty strong supporter of Cordner.

I'd start him and put Graham or Cartwright on the bench.

Sort of a been there, done that and I'm not convinced the game won't pass him by as a 13 in Origin.

  18. Wilson SB Wilson

    Yep, like this.

The other Trbojevic is a must on the sting next year too. Bird in the centres. Tedesco at the back.

Ryan James? How can you pick a bloke who regularly fails to make even 7m a carry at club level?
