If you really wanted to throw everything at the wall for game 3 and see what sticks.

1. James Tedesco (Moylan)
2. Blake Ferguson
3. James Roberts (Tedesco)
4. Jack Bird
5. Josh Manhammer
6. Matt Moylan (Austin)
7. Aidan Sezer/Trent Hodkinson
8. David Klemmer
9. Nathan Peats
10. Aaron Woods
11. Wade Graham
12. Tyson Frizzell
13. Trent Merrin

14. Blake Austin (Tyrone Peachey)
15. Bryce Cartwright
16. Paul Vaughan
17. Andrew Fifita

That side gets me pretty excited.

Ferguson is done as a winger afaic. I've seen enough of him on the wing to say he's not good enough.

3. Wilson SB Wilson

James Roberts is fucking awful.

I didn't actually realise Dugan was back, chuck him at centre.

Ryan James is Kade Snowden Mk.2 I reckon. He's quantity over quality afaic, looks good on the books playing his 70~ minutes statting up big time but that's not going to be required in origin. Your looking at 2 x 20 minute stints. Plenty of props more suited to that that will get better metres per run imo.

Agree with the above so much. He's totally ineffective after hitting the line. That's why you regularly see him finishing with stats like 92m from 14 hit-ups. And 95m from 16 hit-ups. Making like 6.5m per hit-up. He'll get chewed up in Origin. His strong point is his workrate and that will be reduced in Origin because of the speed.

Yeah James is basically just a less good version of Tamou IMO.

James Roberts? Seriously?

I don't get the rush to get Graham in. Frizell bossed it, Jackson has been surprising, Cordner straight back in next year and Cartwright is the bloke we have to get in.

Article Title: [h=1]Cameron Smith urges Laurie Daley not to pick James Tedesco for State of Origin game three[/h]

Actual quote: “I’m not overly surprised (Tedesco hasn’t played fullback for NSW) because I believe Matt Moylan’s a wonderful footballer,” Smith said.

“Tedesco was great today, he was fantastic ... but at the end of the day NSW will make up their minds not me.”

Am I missing something here; is Peats really that good? I'm genuinely asking because I haven't watched him that closely. I never thought much of him at Souths, and I've seen him improve a lot since leaving but is he up to Origin? Or is he just the next best because tbh I couldn't see myself not picking Ennis if Farah went overseas.

For next year:

1. Hayne
2. Trbojevic
3. Bird
4. Tedesco
5. Mansour
6. Moylan
7. Hodkinson
8. Woods
9. Peats
10. Vaughan
11. Frizzell
12. Cordner
13. Merrin

14. Klemmer
15. Paulo
16. Cartwright
17. Austin

14. morgieb MC Burridge

I think it's more of a next best thing. Ennis's Origin record is dire and Farah may not be playing NRL in 2017.

Cartwright @ 6 tbh.

Hodkinson and Cartwright would be a good halves pairing for game 3 imo.

Best of a bad bunch. And Ennis is a dud at origin, on top of being 38.

Yeah I dunno. Ennis is a much better player now and he's only played one game (in which NSW were thrashed) in the last 5 years.

I'd sooner pick Buderus than Peats because he has experience and is a proven origin performer.

Why do you keep saying that? Nothing I said could be construed to mean that. If previous experience and proven ability mean nothing to you, you should have the honesty to say it instead of twisting my views.
