    I don't really rate Granville above being a good NRL hooker. I think Jake Friend and Segayaro are the way forward for Qld.

    Also, There's pretty much no situation where I'd pick DCE anymore. I'd have him 6th in line for a halves berth behind Thurston, Cronk, Hunt, Morgan and Milford. He's just not suited to origin and he's also a dick.

    DCE isn't in contention for the 6. I could see a good argument for Hunt though.

    Granville to me is the perfect bench hooker. With Friend starting, they'd be an awesome hooking combo.

    Hold Seggy and Granville in pretty equal regard.

    Was really worried about the post-Smith/Thurston/Cronk/Slater era but we're in a better position than NSW I reckon after the development of a couple players in recent years.

    I'd actually be more inclined to play DCE if Thurston was out than if Cronk was, so I'd have him in contention for the 6 tbh.

    It sucks that a heartless cunt like DCE is the next best option. Hopefully Hunt, Taylor, JNik etc. all surpass him.

    I think we need to almost look at our halves as right edge v left edge, and then if the two best options are both 6's, change it.

    Right Edge we've got plenty of options:
    Cronk
    Hunt
    DCE
    Morgan


    Left Edge it's just JT and the Milf. I'd be happy with the Milf and Cronk as a halves duo.
