I'd seriously be looking at Tedesco.

I just do not rate Jorris, Hopoate can at least put his outside man away, Jorris is just a fucking derp but gets hailed as consistent every time he doesn't let Inglis score 10 tries on him.

Hoppa was pretty average this series but his game isn't suited to wing at all at this level imo.

And Dugan would be better in at right centre, not the wing, IMO.

I just think Dugan stifles any back line movement, his kick returns are strong and he's fairly safe under a high ball (especially when compared to other people vying for the wing spots like the 'saw).

Jennings is similar, but he gets away with it by occasionally standing his man up or retards not realising that he dummies 80% of the time (see his try in game 2).

  5. Magic AJ Parker

I don't rate Jorris either really but defensively he does deserve credit for the past few series. I've considered plenty of times just picking Jorris on the wing because he has been a consistent servant for NSW.

I just think if you're going to drop Jorris for a more skillful player and I think that should be the tone of NSW's selections next year (picking more skillful players) then Wighton or Ferguson are probably your best choices. And that's not just based on Origin performances this year from Hopoate, since returning to the NRL he's been mediocre at best tbh.

Adam Reynolds is almost a must for me at 7 if he's healthy.

  7. Speirz DG Speirs

In fairness, that's something that we wanted for 8 years. If Inglis was playing fullback I could see the argument for someone else, but the job he's done on Inglis in recent years makes me think that there's no alternative.

Surely Emm picking Hopoate is a gee up.

I reckon there are 20 blokes I'd pick at centre before him.

Fensom's a no go too IMO, I'd sooner use Tolman in that roll.

  9. Hunter AD Hunt

I'd currently have these penciled in:

    3. Jorris
    4. Jennings
    5. Borris

    8. Woods
    9. Farah
    10. Tamou
    11. Cordner
    12. Hoffman
    13. Gallen

    14. Klemmer

  10. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Gallen again? I think it's time to move on. When will this ball hog start copping some of the blame?

  11. Tartmaster AJ James

    Add Austin and AWTA

Ferguson should be there. Moylan at FB too.

  13. Benny BS Read

    U wot m8?

Hoffman has been great, but I definitely wouldn't have him pencilled in for next year. Greg Bird has always been better + Cartwright looks like he's come good and Frizzell/Sims may have a future as well.

I think id rather Ferguson than Josh Morris at centre too.

Vaughan has had a quiet month or so due to niggling injury but I'm still pretty convinced he should be there as well next year. The bench should be 2 props, a backrower and a utility for mine. I mean what on earth does Josh Jackson add off the bench?

  15. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

What is his success rate? Gasnier was right, Gallen being the ball hog that he is, and works well for him in the NRL, is causing problems for the Blues.

I think it's time for him to be fucked off, cunt has won 1 series in 10 attempts.

  16. Magic AJ Parker

Yes because Gallen is representative of his whole team....

  17. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Better pick Pearce again next year then.

He has been there in every NSW series loss in the last 10 years. Why does he deserve to hold his spot at his age?

  18. Magic AJ Parker

Because he's consistently been one of NSW's best performers over the past 5 years...

I certainly wouldn't drop him on a team statistic - that's some Daily Telegraph shit.
    I certainly wouldn't drop him because he's a hog - he's our main yardage man ffs, I don't want him distributing and;
I certainly wouldn't drop him because of his age - He still averaged the most metres of any forward from both sides this year, not bad for an old fella short of match fitness & playing with injuries.

He's been a lot worse than that. He hasn't been first grade standard.

My sides for for 2016 at this stage.

    QLD

    1.Slater
    2.Boyd
    3.Inglis
    4.Chambers
    5.Gagai
    6.Thurston
    7.Cronk
    8.Scott
    9.Smith (c)
    10.
    11.Guerra
    12.Thaiday
    13.Parker

    14.Morgan
    15.Papalii
    16.McGuire
    17.

I'm very strongly tempted to keep Inglis at 1 but we just don't have the depth in the outside backs. Myles will be there. I just don't know where I'd put him at this stage. If McGuire continues to impress I'd very strongly consider starting him and putting Nate on the bench. He's really slowing down. It'd also be a shame to drop Lillyman after he played so well.

    NSW

    1.Moylan
    2.Morris
    3.Jennings
    4.
    5.
    6.Austin
    7.Mullen
    8.Woods
    9.Farah
    10.Gallen(c)
    11.Cordner
    12.Hoffman
    13.Bird

    14.
    15.Klemmer
    16.Tamou
    17.Lewis

Don't really care about their form one way or another. Austin and Mullen are the two best halves NSW can muster IMO. And I'd probably play Dugan on the wing or at centre.
