    Not quite. Sheen's gameplans are error intensive. They revolve around a lot of short side play and fast play the balls, the two things which cost us the most in terms of the errors. It was really good in 05 when the ruck was very different and when teams weren't as prepared for those tactics, however no that the game has changed and the ruck is slower it just doesn't work. It's also not as though our pack is that bad anymore, we actually have a decent to good pack.

    Nah, not at all. Desperation isn't the word to use, pressure is. Every catch becomes harder, every run/tackle is harder. Whole season's work riding on one mistake etc... The team that's not most desperate wins, but the team that copes with the pressure... that isn't a team of shit ****s either lol.

    If Ben Farrar wasn't so average I'd actually include Manly, on potential alone, in that list.

    Admittedly I haven't seen the last two Eels games, but I reckon Mateo is very over rated and I don't think two games could change that opinion too much.

    I'm not basing that on the two games. I only saw one of them. Just like Mateo.

    Reckon Mortimer, Keating and co are useless though so there's just too much for Hayne to do.

    Yeah they're not going to drop Mortimer but from what I've seen Humble has a lot more to him as far as ball-playing goes at this point.

    Finals footy is a completely different scene. A scene where the noose haunts Smith so I am not sold on how that is going to go for us. It's funny, I know a lot of people are saying that we are 1 year away and it just reminds me of what the Tigers were saying back in 05. Although if we do manage to win it, I hope we actually are able to make the finals in the next 4 years afterwards. :p
