Excellent development in our game. Gives people an early look at potential future Origin players. Too bad Cedrick can't play this year and carve up like he did last. Cedrick is god.
Cedrick is Edrick Lee. AKA Greg Inglis's replacement in the QLD team when Slater retires and GI moves to fullback. He's a rangy and skilful centre being played out of position and doing a decent job of it. He does have handling issues that need work but most youngster outside backs do. he should be playing centre and Wighton should be on the wing. He's hardly a typical U20's centre/winger.
Not sure if you've noticed either Julian, but I think I'm right in saying the Croker/Lee combination has not conceded a try in their three games together this year. Every try that's been scored out wide has been through Earl/Wighton (though mainly Earl). Unless you can think of one?... I'm sure you'd have notice though, it's been that way for a while. Most tries are conceded on the right regardless of whether it's Wighton or Ferguson playing.
