American Idiot would be my favourite Green Day album.

  2. Speirz DG Speirs

They're up there for me, always put on a good live show.

  3. Bedsey JB Dempsey

  4. Fiery GR Smith

Sounds good. I never got to see them live unfortunately.

  5. crowley DA Crowley

They may still perform these days, I'm not sure. Did you ever by chance get to see Split Enz or Mi-Sex play ? They were a couple of decent Kiwi bands.

  6. Fiery GR Smith

God I'm not that old :fp: Both were great bands but I was too young to be going to concerts while they were around.

I actually thought The Church had split up and Steve Kilbey was doing solo work but it seems they haven't officially split yet. They haven't released an album in a few years anyway.

...thought you Aussies had claimed Mi-Sex btw....just like you did with Dragon ;)

  8. crowley DA Crowley

Yeah that does happen a bit. Take for example Russell Crowe: When he wins an Oscar he's an Aussie but then when he throws a phone at that chick he's a Kiwi.
Dragon were another quality band back in the day. Have their best of CD.

  9. Fiery GR Smith

He did mention Auckland in his Oscar speech
    He also mention Sydney

I'm actually surprised Steve Kilbey is not in jail. Major druggie that guy.

  11. Fiery GR Smith

Certainly dabbled in everything by the sounds of it

  12. Bender BG Herd

Lolling at the generic opening post.

I saw Steve Kilbey in Sydney about 3 years ago. Came across as a bit of a douchebag tbh.
