This and with ease. IMO, Led Zep should be higher in the list. lol @ comparing Oasis with any of those artists in the list.
Queen are horribly overrated IMO. Not to mention that although they wrote some great songs, their ability to create a quality album from beginning to end was virtually zilch. Take Bohemian Rhapsody off Night At The Opera, and nobody would rate it in the top 1000 albums.
Mine would be very different. No Beatles for one. Urgh, some of their music is so massively overrated. Don't think they did anything interesting until about 1965/6.
I tend to agree but once they became "artists rather than Beatles", as they put it, they were monumental.
Pink Floyd Queen Foo Fighters Def Leppard Van Halen Muse Guns n Roses Traveling Wilberry's (sorta cheating i guess) No Doubt Foreigner
Looks like me an SM have pretty similar tastes music wise: My Rough List would be: 1. AC/DC 2. Queen 3. Guns n Roses 4. Foo Fighters 5. Bon Jovi That's my top 5....too many other bands I like to make a top 10.
Also to mention I have recent seen Def Leppard live in concert supported by Motley Crue....was an awsome concert.
A list of my top 10 favourite bands would be:- x. Band ; Favourite Album ; Favourite song of theirs not necessarily in the album. 1. The Beatles ; The White Album ; Dear Prudence 2. Radiohead ; OK Computer ; Let Down 3. Pink Floyd ; The Dark Side of The Moon ; Brain Damage 4. Led Zeppelin ; Led Zeppelin IV ; Gallows Pole 5. The Rolling Stones ; Sticky Fingers ; Sister Morphine 6. Blur ; Blur ; Country Sad Ballad Man 7. The Smiths ; The Queen is Dead ; The Headmaster Ritual 8. The Clash ; London Calling ; Lost in the Supermarket 9. The Jimi Hendrix Experience ; Are You Experienced? ; Purple Haze 10. Joy Division ; Closer ; Transmission Sticky Fingers is my favourite album of all-time though. Bowie would make the top 3 and Dylan would certainly make the 10 if this was a musical acts thing instead.
