Ok so I guess we'll go those 2 again, and I'll put myself in. I know they're not really clear, as if I was a spy I probably wouldn't have failed that mission, but I think our chances are better trusting them than going with randoms. So Weeman Blunder Tart
So why wouldn't you have failed that mission if you were a spy Tart? And do you think the two sent are on the same level of thinking as you?
So I've been sitting here trying to explain my thinking on this, and reason I come up with I easily debunk. I was gonna say so the next leader does what I did, and then if it fails you could blame him. But it would be pretty dumb for a spy to put himself in with 2 innos who just passed a mission, as he'd get the blame, unless he uses that as a defence, infinite WIFOM. But now I've actually thought about it, it'd probably be better to fail it, even if you don't get picked again, neither would the other guy, which means the next leader has to pick 3 from a pool of 3 townies, 2 spies, so odds are still in your favour. So now I've confused the fuck out of myself and don't know what I think.
I tend to believe that most spies would probably fail that first mission given the chance. While this is my first ever time playing this (so I'm not very clued-in on strategy) there aren't many experts on Cricsim either and the first logical thought that came to my mind from watching the first game was that the spies don't really need to fail that many missions to win. Because of that I would probably just try and fail as many as I could if I were a spy seeing as it doesn't really leave the resistance with much to go with when there's still other spies hiding in the group.
I think realistically if a mission passes, especially the first one, you have to go with just an addition to the last group, rather than a completely new group.
1 fail and 2 passes. The mission fails. Weeman Tart Number 11 Blake Ritchie Blunder Teacups Number 11 up. 3 needed for the third mission.
Right well, who do people want me to put in? Considering that Weeman/Blunder passed and Weeman/Blunder/Tart failed, I'd say that the spy has to be in Weeman/Blunder, who tried to set Tart up.
I'd say we shouldn't take for granted that Tart isn't a spy. Not failing the mission from his pov means a 2-0 headstart for the resistance and with only 1 spy in those 3 and if the next person picks an an entirely new 3 then there's guaranteed to be at least 1 spy in it. (4 left, 2 of which are spies). It's all wifom really. There's no guarantees on either side. I know I'm not a spy, so I volunteer to go again... but it doesn't really count for much i realise
