First Slater saved a potential try by dislodging the ball from Morris on a break-away. Then he produced the offload which created the overlap and brought NSW's defence up to allow a Thurston kick for GI to score. Then he moved into first receiver and gave a beautiful short ball to Thaiday to score. Then he runs the perfect line and allows Thaiday to reciprocate the favour with a nice short ball for him to score. Pretty amazing he didn't get MOTM.
Not to mention the 2 kicks which lead to drop outs right after his offload. His first 35 minutes were out of this world.
