    Dunno why clubs feel the need to make a statement like that. Keep that shit behind closed doors.

    Be surprised if he's at the club next year, sounds like there's been a real breakdown in the relationship between club and player.

    Refreshing to hear we're linked with good players. Disappointing knowing full well we'll end up paying a combined 1.7mil a year for Kurt Capewell, Matt Prior and Zane Tetevano.

    Separately, I'd absolutely pay Mitchell around 800-900k a year to play fullback. I mean fucks sake, we've paid Reynolds, Matulino and Packer around 750k a year to play reserves in their 30s. At least Mitchell has world class potential and is a genuine game breaker.

    He also represents Cody Walker who has supposedly priced himself out of a contract with Souths. And Jack Wighton who is apparently asking for 900k+.

    Latrell would be a mad fullback now I reckon. He's far more confident as a player at this level than he was when he was getting a gig there a few years back. Plus it should force him to get involved as a runner rather than him being in the halves.

    If Latrell makes a big million dollar move to play fullback at a smaller club I reckon he'll be playing for Old Bar at 130kgs within 4 years.

    Yeah when he was fitter and the game was a bit different. We saw lots of games over the last few years of his career with either AJ or Cody at fullback with him at 6 or centre.

    Latrell could definitely do it well if he wanted to be I doubt his work ethic to get in good nick for it, and I guess his attitude as well. "Nah I can be a 105kg fullback, just watch me"

    Latrell has more chance of being a gun 6 than a gun 1 IMO, and even that would require a pretty traditional and dominant 7.
