I'm going to make a prediction that Moylan will end up back at Penrith in the next 2 seasons.

I can't remember, did he leave on good terms or did he bail because he was dropped/because of Hook? If he still has an attachment to Penrith I can definitely see him heading back.

He left on pretty bad terms but neither Hook nor Gould are there anymore so that might not matter, depending on how the players felt about his departure at the time. Lots of their fans really hate him now though which would make it interesting.

Give them a season with Edwards/Luai/Cleary and all will be forgotten.

  5. Wilson SB Wilson

I rate Luai. Far too green atm but has the necessary skills to be really good if persevered with.

  6. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah I'm a fan too. I'm not sure the pre-season decision this year to bulk him up was really the right move though. I guess it was if they thought using him off the bench in the middle was going to seriously improve the side for this year but I think he seems to have lost a bit of agility with that shift. This isn't his ideal playing weight if he's going to be a 6 IMO.

Edwards is still a bit shit though. He's over his rough patch which is good but he wasn't that great to begin with. Moylan at the back would vastly improve the side as long as he hasn't burnt any bridges with the playing group.

So do I but when your half and fullback offer pretty much nothing in good ball attack it's easy for opposition defences to stack their defence. Luai doesn't have the experience yet to overcome that IMO anyway.

I think Penrith are really going to struggle next year without Maloney. Creatively and organisationally.

  8. Magic AJ Parker

Jesse Ramien is a free agent for next year.

By the sounds of it just a bit pissed he wasn't getting any good ball.

  9. Wilson SB Wilson

Nor should he; hands like feet this year.

Will happily take him back though

Korisau coming back to Penrith. Could've sworn I saw he was headed to the Dogs.

  11. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah about 16 hours after everyone in the media told us he was signed, sealed and delivered to Canterbury, Penrith held a press conference and announced his signing lol

  12. Magic AJ Parker

    I've always like Korisau.

    Good signing for the Riff.

  13. Magic AJ Parker

There's been absolutely no movement of any real note for the 2020 season that is going to shake up the competition.

The biggest signing to date would be... George Williams or Apisai Korisau?

  14. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Any big names still off contract?

  15. Magic AJ Parker

Alex Glenn is probably the most notable player still off contract.

    Sam Williams... Zane Tetevano...

  16. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Oates still isn't signed for next season.

Broncos shopping Bird and McCullough. Macca will probably end up in England.

  17. Magic AJ Parker

Feels like Seibold is just gonna ship a whole lot of players out of there and then claim they're in rebuilding for the next 2 years to buy himself some time.

There were already signs of that this year.

  18. Lukic L Popovic

Broncos surely wouldn't let Oates go?

  19. AVA T Delonge

I don't think Broncos know what to do. There's no one to really sign in the off-season and they are stuck with Boyd and Bird atm, so do you just write next season off and get on the recruitment drive? Other teams could possibly get away with that but the Broncos will struggle to convince their fans/board of the idea imo.

  20. Magic AJ Parker

Yeh they will re-sign Oates for sure.

Getting rid of Jack Bird to accommodate Darius Boyd in the centres doesn't make any sense.
