    I still think there's a place for him, but if the idea is to use him off the bench for 30 minutes or something then we're much better off picking TLL or Mason at this stage of Tolman's career. I think he'll get there and make more of each of his runs as he gets older but at this stage his utility in his in work-rate, and using him for 30 minutes or so as an impact player isn't going to work well. If he plays he has to start and play pretty long minutes.

    Who gives a **** what he thinks?:lol: He still wants Gallen, Watmough and probably O'Donnell if he were available, all in the same team.

    You'd think he'd realise that these blokes take a ridiculous amount of runs to make the metres they do (almost always more than their team mates) - Quite a number of which occur after the match has been lost. Gallen's performance in Game 2 is a perfect example of that. His stats should say something like 7 runs for 30m - That's about what he was actually worth to NSW on Wednesday night. He'd made 50m by the 30th minute (when he went off), all of which were for nothing given that he conceded two penalties in that time (which easily gave QLD 50m, not to mention new sets in attacking range). He didn't resurface until the 60th and the score was 34-0. So why bother picking him? He got QLD in range to score their first try but I don't hear anyone (except me) blaming him for it.

    If people actually gave a **** about what he costs the NSW team, they wouldn't pick him. And they didn't in Game 1. But of course after the loss, massive public pressure sees his return when Bellamy clearly didn't want him there.

    The sad thing is, he'd be an upgrade. Ben Cross is one who seemed to step up a bit at Origin level, but he's been so shit ever since he signed for us (when he plays that is), that he'd probably have been dropped at any other club.

    Just noticed Robertson in MF's team. I'm a fan, definitely should've been picked ahead of the likes of Williams, McManus and Turner in the past IMO. Not a bad idea at all if they don't defend with that ridiculous pattern.

    God I feel dirty praising a Manly player.

    I dunno about that though. If he plays wider he'll just make less runs and it'll waste his biggest asset. It could give him more energy to focus into each run, or it could just result in him making 10 wide runs for 50 metres.

    Tolman is going to be an awesome player for NSW, but I'd lean towards starting with Snowden and Douglas and bringing Weyman and either Mason or TLL off the bench for now really.

    Yeah frenchies defense is not up to standard atm.

    He has been playing as a 5/8th in attack for us in every game so far this year. I wouldn't pick him though. Not based on this year's form.

    While I can't wait for the selectors to get the boot and for the coach to change it is quite unnerving to know that it could very well turn out that the new selectors are even worse than the ones we have had and continue the same constant changing tactic as the guys now.
