    EPL is better competition wise for entertainment but the La Liga is top heavy now and there is only 2 maybe 4 games if you want to include the Madrid derby worth watching. But in Europe it's the Spanish teams doing well because basically they have half the Spanish team running out in each game.

    Exactly. Spanish has 2 great teams but the rest is nowhere near. And therefore the league is boring as fuck.

    Yeah, I find that people here watch the EPL, along with the Barcelona matches. La Liga doesn't encapsulate global fans as a league - all people care about is Barca and Madrid, and who's where on the log between the two.

    With the EPL, the whole league is exciting.

    Also, the fans are even worse than other leagues at just supporting the two. Even Spaniards will just support one of them instead of their local teams.

    I don't think the Prem as a whole is exciting. I'd be hard pressed to ever have the heart to tell the kids they couldn't watch TV because Stoke V Sunderland was on.

    The top end of the Prem usually produces entertaining games, but the quality from a technical POV is considerably reduced versus a few years back.

    people saying the epl standard is dieing is just stupid tbh. we've had a champions league finaliost 7 out of the last 8 years (before this year so 7 in 9.) an awesome record. just because we have one bad year doesnt mean fuck all.
