He is still carving it up around Ipswich.

Andrew Walker was a gun, too bad about off-field.

Andrew Walker was easily the most indigenous looking player of both codes.

swear inglis was coming off an offseason surgery for an injury plus he was overweight due to his injury?

    Even Pearce ran him down.

He's a different player now. He never had the burst off the mark, but he was a whippet in 06/07. I think it was his first try - he baked someone from Parramatta off a scrum and ran the field. That try against Brisbane in the finals as well :wank:

I don't watch enough football to know who's the fastest over 40m these days.

Haha just realised my dire typo in that post.

Ftr, Hayne came third, Inglis last.

What did you think Frizzed's earlier joke was about? :p

Inglis not recording a time / not finishing the race. He's simultaneously all positions until we observe his time etc etc.

I really admire Hayne. I actually reckon he's a decent bloke out of this. He just wants to go and try something and push himself.

I give him respect for having the courage to be at the top of one field and then to attempt an extremely risky conversion to another sport. But I think it's at least partially borne of the thing that makes me dislike him - He's a big-headed wanker who is so far up his own arse.

Too old to pick up the game, no experience, only 32 starting spots in the nfl, no chance in the nfl imo.

The biggest difference he will see from nrl to nfl is that he won't be out running fat slow forwards and average speed backs, He will be changing to a league where he will be up against players running olympic times and who are fucking strong. And there are proberly a hundred prospects just like Hayne each year in the NFL trying to make the roster.

He will just be another player with a dream. It will be tough for him to compete for returners such as jackson, austin and hester who are just outta this world, it will be hard for him to compete with running backs who are around the same size and run second faster, it will be hard for him to learn the defensive back position because these players been playing the game since they were in pop warner and used techniques such back-pedalling and how to trouble the receiver through experience.
Punter will be tough for him, again there is only 32 teams,32 starters, the best of the best, does he have the distance?does he have the hangtime?

This is just my opinion, agree or disagree i don't care.

I remember seeing him a month back at one of the seniors football games, was wondering when he would end up giving it a shot, or a game in the NSW div 1 league for UTS. Not particularly surprising tbh

Wish him the best of luck though

I reckon Hayne could crack 11 seconds after several months on the juice.
