    I am ridiculously nervous atm. The weather is a real worry for me. If it is going to rain which looks likely, the Dragons are going to love it. Our defensive line, especially goal line defense will be under even more pressure, while I don't think their defense will be fazed too much by the change of weather. Ball control will be even more crucial and we love to throw it around which could turn into an absolute nightmare. If we don't massively tone it down and do what the Dragons do so well and that's play for possession and field position then I can see our halves getting frustrated and a repeat of the SCG match where we played ourselves out of the game.

    I agree, rain would favour the Dragons immeasurably. A dry track is certainly preferable for the Chooks.

    I really do think that a lot of so called experts are getting sucked in to the chances of Easts. I'm getting more confident as the week has worn on that St.George will win it.

    Have been picking Easts since the two teams were confirmed but with the weather the way it is I'm jumping ship. St George will love the slop.

    More the fact that Illawarra have a much better forward pack, better defence and the creativity/running game of the halves won't come into it nearly as much in the wet.
