Easts are making ground far too easily from quick play-the-balls. Sharks need better first up contact or they'll be getting marched upfield all night.

I never get tired of Sutton’s ruck officiating. He’ll let both sides lay all over the tackled player and then every 20-25 minutes he’ll penalise one that is just not remotely worth a pen.

He’s been doing it for years and still manages to be the game’s top official. It’s beyond me.

 

Pretty good game so far though. Very evenly matched.

 

That would've been more accurate than him penalising Lee. This walking off the mark shit and earning penalties for it, or putting the markers "offside", or getting a do-over, needs to stop.

I've never seen a weekend of finals football where this many shockingly bad calls have lead directly to crucial tries. Friend dawdled, lost control and wins the ball back.

There is no way that is not a loose carry from Friend.
