Then all we need is the cowboys to get knocked out and MF won't post for the rest of the year.

What an absurd thing to say. I post on other games more than anyone.

Last year is irrelevant, so Hoffman could play well with Lockyer big whoop, Norman could play well with Lockyer.

Yeah Lockyer retires and Hoff plays with zero depth, did that depth just appear out of Hodges ass when he threw the cut out? No, he stood half fucking deep something Hoffman hasn't done all year.

That's certainly true in attack but Hoffman wasn't a rock solid kick returner/diffuser because of Lockyer. He hasn't been right since the head knocks.

Lockyer could make anyone look decent by just being there. I remember Cribb saying Norman was gun last year. Fuck, he made some of us think Shane Perry was decent.

He wasn't going great before the head knocks either honestly. They did shake him though.

    Beale couldn't.

Yeah, that's called width mate, not depth.

And the reason it occurred was because for the first time all fucking night Norman actually did his job as a half. Instead of being a ball hogging douchebag, he gave himself room, went to the line, optioned his decoy, and then delivered a quality pass to his fullback. You know, that thing Lockyer used to do for us? That's called, creating space (for your outside men).

Compare that to the sort of shit Hoffman got, like off the scrum when Norman went to the line, not knowing whether to run, pass or who to pass to.

I really don't know how many more games you need to watch before you realise Norman is the problem. If you want to make the case that we need a Hodges or Norman at fullback to improve our creativity in Lockyer's stead then fine. But don't give me this shit about Hoffman not standing deep enough.

Hoffman has been fucking hopeless, the only thing worse than him in our side is Norman, you won't find me disagreeing with you there but it's also kind of irrelevant seeing we were talking about Beale and Hoffman.

Yeah Hoffman has been fucking hopeless this year. No doubt. But Beale is fucking hopeless full stop. Hoffman has at least shown the ability to be a quality consistent FG fullback, albeit not overly brilliant. Beale hasn't. Neither has Norman for that matter.

Anyone else got their fingers crossed that Payne's out for the season? Give me Segayaro and Mitchell any day.

Jason Taumalolo is just one of those attacking players that excite you to watch. Will be good next year if him and Sims both play.

Yeah. He's going to be fucking good I reckon. I really do think that next year is the Cowboys big shot at the comp. This year we've got a good squad but losing Tariq and not coming top 4 really fucked it I reckon. Winning three games in a row away from home is too much for the Cows to do.

Didn't watch much of the game last night. Glad I didn't going by that score. I'm guessing Norman was terrible once again?

You nailed it, he and Hoffman were balls.

Got back from Townsville late yesterday arvo. Was awesome, crowd was great. I called the field goal two plays before it happened too except I said it'd be Thurston.

Was an awesome game to watch. Bowen needs to do more of those aggressive kick returns with that level of footwork. Matt Scott and Tamou again dominated up the middle. I didn't like their lazy defence at times in the second half though. Bring Manly on though this will be a good match. Our last loss was 6 weeks ago against Manly.
