TOTY is the following apparently -----------Neur----------- Alves-Ramos-Silva-Lahm --Ribery--Xavi--Iniesta Messi----Ibra----Ronaldo
Main controversies; more Barca players than Bayern players, Alaba left out in favour of Dani Alves (moving Lahm out of position in the process) and Xavi in there over Schwieni.
Ramos being in there is a bit odd too. Plenty of others I'd pick over him, mainly Dante though. Alaba in for Alves, Martinez in for Xavi, Schweinsteiger in for Iniesta and Suarez in for Ibra is what I'd go for.
Yeah agree with all those. Six Madrid and Barca players compared to three Bayern and Dortmund players, despite the respective semi finals last year.
Like Suarez has been great but there's a lot to be said for dragging your team to titles and performing in the Champions League. There are many criticisms to be leveled at Zlatan but he's a phenomenal footballer, absurdly good at times.
Absolutely agree with Marcuss. There is no way Suarez should be in there over Zlatan. What Zlatan does is just incredible.
"no way"? When was the last time you actually watched Zlatan play a full match? He produces moments of magic but I'd much rather have Suarez playing for me (considering Suarez does as well). I'd have Bale in there over Zlatan too.
If I was picking a player to take from PSG for a one-off match for my life, Zlatan would probably not even be top two.
They're both fantastic players but Suarez has outside of Ronaldo been the best player in the world this season.
It's a tricky one, and really, I suppose it depends on what you want from your team. Ibra's link up play, when he can be arsed, is great, but his lateral movement is basically non-existent at times. And it looks even worse given Cavani is probably one of the best in the world at it. When the team wasn't built around Zlatan and he was expected to become a cog in the machine, he was awful. Not a huge fan.
Well PSG are pretty much always on the TVs in Belgium, so I watch him play pretty much every game. And he is a better player than Suarez. There's little point trying to talk sense to you when it comes to Suarez though.
