    Not really, what he said was it's all well and nice to get a standing ovation but it feels a bit empty when they murdered him all game, and every other time he's gone to Stamford Bridge. Which is fair enough imho.

    Thats football though. JT gets murdered for his slip in the CL final. Its all 'banter' towards an opposition player and as Jose correctly said a great enemy. But to put all the 'abuse' away and and actually the respect to give him a standing ovation when he was subbed was a class act imo.

    Well, end of season going to be a nerve shredder!!

    Fucking Scumderland picking up more points and Leicester continue the run. Newcastle need to hope Hull are shitter than they are....not looking forward to the last two games at all.

    Had this exact conversation with the lads at work today.

    I would take relegation and Ashley out, as I think the club would then gain more stability, have a good clear out of the squad (mostly overpaid and past it players in our squad tbf), new manager and new back room staff and a new chairman and board.

    Survival by the skin of our teeth, mediocre purchases in the off season, yes man in as manager, we don't have a fairly good start to next season and get relegated next season. This is what will happen next season if he stays....imho
