    I think with the start we have that we've got a real chance. We should win most of the games in the opening couple of months of the season and that will bring back the confidence we lacked for the whole of last year.

    Plus rumours are we're signing Ron Vlaar so we'll never concede

    With Evra reportedly being sold to Juve (why sign a new contract to then ask to leave?!) we could do with a second LB and I'd certainly take him. Both he and Vlaar (debateably) in the WC team of the tournament too... will be interesting to see if there's any interest in them from bigger clubs with their performances

    :laugh: Really wouldn't surprise me. LVG seems to have the dutch squad in his pocket though so I reckon we will end up with at least one of their defenders. None of them are particularly high profile and they all did pretty well and are young.

    Evra didn't sign a new contract, Utd triggered a clause in his existing contract that allowed them to take up the option of a 1 year extension. Nothing Evra could do about it.
