    United were sloppy with the ball, they raped themselves, also i think you look at the first ten minutes you see how they should of played, they needed to take it to barca, once barca started getting possesion we had nothing to counteract it, shocking display by United today

    entirely disagree they had no right to win that game or even be there, now thats not to say they arent a very good team, but united is at least equal with them, and chelsea beat them despite what the score card said

    so you think that barca would have beat chelsea if the ref hadnt been such a invalid, the fact is you look at that game and watch the two teams play, and if you have ever seen man u play before today you would know that they did not play there game to the level they usually would, now barca is a good team, but man u went into that game favorites, and it was always gonna be close, but to say that barca "had it in the bag" so to speak before they had even got on the pitch well thats just rediculous

    I wasn't referring to the Barca v Chelsea match, I never said Barca deserved or didn't deserve to be there.

    My original statement was about Barca being too good for Untied, now you're waffling on about something that's irrelevant to what I was originally talking about.

    Just face it mate, United were outplayed by far better opposition.

    Barca's ball retention was impeccable. They knew exactly when to pass, when to dribble. Even Messi, who when going forward many times he could have opted to shoot instead runs forward then passes. This starved the Man United players of ball and in the end they all pushed forward, they had like 5 strikers on in the 2nd half but when you can't win the ball your strikers can't do anything. Park did nothing, Carrick's passing was poor and Giggs was missing all game. I think Giggs, as good a player as he was isn't up to the quality of the Champions League anymore and probably is better suited as a bench player.
