    Did Williams play fullback or centre half Speirz?

    I recorderd the game but someone told me the result so I haven't watched it yet.

    Australia were the better side but Costa Rica never looked into it. Missed a few good chances as well where as Costa Rica only had the 1 near goal that I remember.

    Australia definitely should be winning these games, which under Osieck they probably wouldn't. Costa Rica at home and factoring in thing such as jet lag and the fact we arrived earlier meant it was a game we really should win and duly delivered.

    Solid enough. Williams was more convincing in my eyes though. Neill did make a couple of physical challenges on players off the ball that he wouldn't have got away with under a different referee.

    Draw against Spain is the best bet if they've already won both games and cbf in the last one.

    Even then though a Spain cbf effort would probably still end up 4 or 5 nil.

    So, our xi is pretty much sorted from what I've read. We will see:

    Ryan
    Franjic, Wilkinson, Spiranovic, Davidson
    Milligan, Jedinak
    Oar (Bresciano)
    Halloran (Leckie), Leckie (Oar)
    Cahill


    Cahill is going to need to play almost every minute of our campaign IMO.
