    Hunt will stay because we won but fuck me his service was atrocious.

    I also thought Kaufusi was excellent. One of the few in our pack who made ground consistently. Our forwards were night and day first half to second.

    Walker looked solid when he came back on, threw some nice cutout passes and looked dangerous. Offered little in the first half though, and Cleary was just bog average.

    I didn't watch the game, or any NRL this year, but a flick through the line ups and prop interchange minutes suggests to me that it was a pretty classic example of NSW refusing to play tight running middle third players in position with go forward for the entirety of the match?

    Everyone here knows I’m the biggest Canberra fan you’ll see, more than biased at times. But fmd Jack Wighton at 5-8th for the final 30 mins of the game..... before it got fucked. Does he not watch the NRL? I love Jack and I’m happy with his move to 6 for the club side but what the fuck was that?

    Mm. Walker was okay in patches but it just doesn’t make sense that with all the field position in the first half, it’s the hooker and fullback actually creating the opportunities. Outscored 3-2 (should’ve been 4 or 5-2) it’s just not good enough from a team that has us beaten across the park. Cleary and Walker won’t get a better platform laid for them in Brisbane than what they had tonight.

    I think Hunt is ideally suited to acting half but from the bench. If we had a good first string hooker available, we'd be set. Friend to start and Hunt to come on when the pace has gone out of the match would be awesome. Alas there's just no one else.

    Perhaps Granville even though I thought a few weeks ago he was fortunate to still be playing first grade but since he's started running more his service has been better. If Friend isn't available he's the only one that comes to mind especially if the other choice is Hunt.
