NSW Team - Game 3

The thing that makes this comedy of errors into a tragic comedy of errors is that after being bombarded by loyalty talk in the press and in public opinion, for the 3 years leading up to 2009 and 2010, the two salient results were and are - They showed loyalty to players who didn't deserve it. And they reneged on that policy shortly after by dropping players who they should've persisted with. Now after another series loss the selectors clearly think the public and media are frivolous and self-contradictory.

I think it's hilariously sad - They think the public is the aforementioned when in actual fact they're projecting their own qualities and principles onto others. It's like a perfect mix of self-delusion and self-sabotage.

It's a mix of self-delusion, lack of principle with, dare I say it, a hint of self-sabotage.

 

I firmly believe Gould has backed himself into a corner, though partly out of design. If the commission comes in, he;ll have no reason to turn the job down.

The chances of Gould coaching NSW next year have sky-rocketed IMO.

I started a thread entitled "NSW Props". Sonic came in and trolled by ging me a load of shit about the topic having already been discussed. I effectively said "Who gives a ****. People have discussed and re-discussed the backs and halves etc. ten fold as much as the props." He replied by saying he's sick of QLDers telling NSWmen who to pick. I fired back that no one was forcing him to read posts by me or any other QLDer and at any rate, they were mere opinions not orders. He then noted that two sub-forums will be added, for NSWmen only and QLDer's only, so as to eliminate, lol, trolling. I called him a gross hypocrite due to his incessant trolling of me and countless others. And I also called him a fascist who isn't mature enough to decide what he should or shouldn't read or pay attention to.

I got repeatedly edited and decided I'm not going to put up with their (Sonic, MattO and even Tread) garbage any longer. I am going to buy Rleague but I need to re-open talks with Fender. He said a few months ago that he wants 100K as a minimum. I told him he's got to be ****ing joking. He replied by saying some nonsense about how it includes like 30K in their bank account. At the time and even still to this day, I suspect he didn't think I was serious.

But anyway, yeah. Same old shit. A good RL forum being run like a shithole.
