    lol thanks Freddy...

Gotta love a coach who picks a one-dimensional fullback as a utility/five-eighth with practically no try assists and then promotes him to starting centre.

  3. Cribbage RG Cribb

Four forwards on the bench and still none of them are props.

Close to man of the series from last year dropped based on one bad game (can we please drop Fittler based on this logic?)

I legitimately miss Daley. I thought I would but last year wasn't that bad, we even won. False sense of security I guess but we needed a clean out for last season; we don't need a fucking clean out every game you cunts.

    3?

  5. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Hahahah amazing.

Freddie been sprouting all this nonsense that he’s picking a team that won’t rely on hope. It’ll be able to go to Perth knowing they’ll do a job.

New defensive pairings on both edges is a sure fire way to increase your reliance on hope.

Qld in to 1.95 after the naming of the NSW side. lol

  8. Lukic L Popovic

This is definitely the kind of game we'll win in the luckiest circumstances by 2 points, name the same team and then get pumped like 30-8 in the decider.

  9. Julian BJ Taylor

No Mitchell is dumb but fuck you’ve picked a really weird time in Wightons career to start rubbishing him. His move to five eighth is working and he’s undoubtedly a pretty good centre imo.

  10. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Wighton has always been a centre, IMO. He’s no Latrell, but he’s the 2nd best left centre available.

  11. Alec AD Funkotron

NSW will probably be hoping for a massive penalty count sort of game.

  12. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Start? I've been rubbishing him for years. He's not a five-eighth's arsehole. And this is not club football. Picking him to start in the centres in Origin is fucking absurd.

  13. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

What the fuck are you basing that on exactly?

  14. Wilson SB Wilson

Julian’s lips on some sweet spots.

  15. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

His time at centre and the way he plays the game. Who’s better there available for nsw?

  16. Alec AD Funkotron

I thought Chambers looked extremely shaky shit defensively in Game 1, if Lattrell was actually up to it, he could have torn his ass apart. So NSW decide to go with a less talented attacking centre instead.

  17. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Chambers will probably have a blunder haha

Wighton’s just a strong ball runner. There’s literally nothing else to his game. I can see him standing up Chambers as he sort of did in Game 1, but you’ve gotta have something more than hard running. As far as attack is concerned it’s picking James Roberts with less pace imo.

I think he’s been picked largely due to Freddy panicking about the left side defence.

  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

He’s not even in the top two left centres in the current side afaic. EWS may have been joking but Tedesco at left centre would seriously scare the shit out of me the way Chambers has defended the last few years. His footwork would tear our right edge apart.

Tell you what, Cordner seemed completely disillusioned in the triple m interview. I know he’d just come from the field after the match but yeah he seemed devastated for Latrell and Crichton.
