Wighton's much better at putting his winger away than Roberts. They're not even in the same category there.

Leaving Latrell out is full retard and my brain can't really manage to get past that and think about possible alternatives, but if I was to pretend Latrell was injured I'd be happy enough with Wighton there. Even if you did play Tedesco at centre, TomT would then move to fullback and you'd still have a centre spot open. I'd rather Wighton than Morris or Roberts.

Yeah I don’t see it. I’m not going to defend Morris and Roberts because neither of them are Origin centres but neither is Wighton.

Maybe I watched a different 20 odd games Wighton played at centre.

I do find it amazing that at the start of this series we were all talking about how NSW had Qld beaten across the park except in the halves. They lose one game and panic sets in. 6 changes and their side looks rather unbalanced especially on the bench.

I’ve never seen team selections take a 2.15 outsider into equal value h2h.

Retarded selections was always going to be Qld's equaliser in this series in regards to team on paper.

The current group of selectors surely have to be the most inconsistent group ever assembled. The logic for each selection just contradicts another.

Daley might've been a loser but at least his teams made sense. I can't say the same thing as Freddy. How on earth did someone with so few braincells become a head coach?

  6. Wilson SB Wilson

This thought that Daley picked good sides is as equally as ludicrous. People have extremely short memories. There were plenty of blow ups at some inept decisions.

Daley always made smart selections. Like Dylan Walker on the bench.

Yeah Daley was garbage relative to the actual options and not just in comparison to Freddy. It may sound a little self-righteous but I said at the time he was fortunate that a lot of the 50/50’s (in his mind) worked out because the blokes who should’ve been picked all along were in good form at the time. He was just lucky in that respect.

I will say though that Fittler is worse. Dropping your second most dangerous outside back when you need more points is a sight to behold. The bench is poorly balanced and the team itself has defended really well in about 1/3rd of all minutes played under his watch.

    lol Freddy. WAC.

The 22-year-old Roosters star has also been affected by his brother Lionel having to face court in August after he was charged with assault for an incident in April.

The incident occurred at the Old Bar Tavern, where according to Goolagong, the two Mitchell brothers were "racially abused all night".

lol yeah sure they were mum. they always pull the race card no matter what. did anyone else see that video of ben barba getting arrested and trying to pull his race card and 'police brutality' like the worm he is?

    >racially abused at Old Bar Tavern

Haha about the half the blokes there when I went there were aboriginal ffs, I find that hard to believe.

Is Graham really that much better than Matterson?

  14. Cribbage RG Cribb

So what if he's only a little bit better though?

Freddy apparently heavily considering benching Vaughan and starting JTrbjovic up front. Finucane at lock.

lol how the fuck do you bench Vaughan before Saifiti?

We got arse-raped in the middle for 30 of the first half. This move will go a long way to ensuring that doesn’t happen again.

“There is also a chance Tariq Sims will be used primarily in the middle of the field as the Blues look to win the ruck area the Maroons dominated in game one.”

Did I miss something here? Or did these cunts not watch the first half?

  16. Cribbage RG Cribb

Haha even if it was true that Queensland won the ruck, which they didn't, picking someone whose career was nearly destroyed by his attempts to become a middle forward only to be resurrected on an edge to arrest this is fucking stupid.

  17. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Fittler, Johns, Buderus and Alexander are totally overthinking this if it’s true. You didn’t lose because your forwards didn’t aim up ffs. You lost because your flanks can’t tackle for shit and your halves created one try and didn’t threaten all night.

But yeah go on then. Bench the best prop left in the side.

  18. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Good on Finucane though. He certainly deserves a crack at Origin given the options.

  19. Cribbage RG Cribb

I don't really care if they bench Vaughan as long as he still plays fairly long minutes. I'd definitely rather bench Saifiti but meh, by far my mildest concern with the side. I'd probably rather bench Vaughan than play a side with only three and a half props and starting three of them.

You've always been a bit of a starting thirteen junkie MF. :p

Walters called Jarrod Wallace the form prop of the comp

    What world am I in
