    Thurston's come out and said the 2017 series will be his last. He plans to retire from rep footy after the 2017 world cup. It'd be amazing if he got through 6 more Origins taking his streak of games to 39. Hard to imagine a record like that ever being broken.

    I don't think I'd go with Cronk-Hunt. Hunt is definitely who I'd pick if Cronk was out, but I don't think Cronk-Hunt would work as well as Cronk-DCE or even Cronk-Milford tbh.

    I dare say Cronk will be hanging them up at a similar time anyway though so it probably won't be a big drama.

    Cronk has 2-3 years left at the absolute max. Wouldn't shock me to see a Hunt/Milf halves if they continue to develop and succeed with Brisbane.

    Daley's going to pick Pearce again. And Austin will not be his partner. It'll be Hodkinson and Pearce again providing they're in semi-decent form. Based on his comments, Austin might be lucky to make the bench.
