    I don't deal with recruitment at all. I'd actually be inclined to let him join based on his improved posting and genuine desire to be part of the club, but that very fact is why I leave recruitment to GYR - I'm too much of a soft touch and I make bad calls. We have too many bowlers anyway, it'd just result in a really unbalanced ALC team.
