    I'd say Lucas and Sandro are pretty similar. Pre-injury Lucas was miles better than Sandro's ever been, though.

    Fernandinho doesn't play that role at all. From what I've seen he's kind of like a very attacking CM.

    Don't think you can pigeon hole him at all tbf. He offers a lot offensively but he does a lot of his work from deep and wins the ball back quite often. Will add a lot to their midfield.

    Id say Lucas is more of a possesion defensive midfielder, not to take anything away from his defensive ability which is great, but I think his reading and ability to control the tempo is gives him that something extra

    Sandro is just like a destroyer of a DM

    I think theyd compliment each other playing for Brazil better than any other 2 deep CM pairing they have, wouldn't say they're the same type of player

    Reading sign Wayne Bridge. Interesting. Seems we are only allowed to sign old washed up left backs, despite having players like Joseph Mills.

    Although I'm not sure we still have him actually.

    Shame Danny Wilson never ended up being anything, was so highly rated when he transferred, I think I remember a couple of people on here thinking he was going to be a future starter

    I was one of them

    It didn't help that whenever he did play, it was at LB. However, he didn't have the physical presence to play CB and was often overshadowed by Wisdom whilst playing for the reserves

    I'd dispute this; he was rarely bullied in Scotland.

    Shame it hasn't worked out for him but the fact that he's gone to Hearts is scandalous.
