"King’s been NAILED! Whoah, what a hit from Eggman there on the Cambridge Centre."- nice descriptions lol
That was pretty damn funny, tbh. 25th Minute Cribb’s tackled firmly there by Welker, but Manera and Eggman are there to support. Well, I say that and the ref has blown his whistle. Penalty to Cambridge. Cribb not releasing the ball there as Welker and Morris came in.
Hunt with the kick for touch. But that’s poor. That’s not even close to the line. The ball is scooped up by James and he runs up field. He jinks past Morris and offloads to Fung. Fung in space. He’s got a long way to run here as he’s in his own half, but he’s got the pace. I’m not sure if the defenders can catch him... Fung scores! Try to Tart’s TT RFC! Successfully converted by Ames 7 – 5 to Tarts against the run of play. Great speed there from Fung! Tarts RFC: Tries: Fung Conversion: Ames Cambridge: Tries: Verigotta
Awesome! Finally doing something. Lol, I'm probably one of the fastest over 40m tbh. Over 100m, I'm still fair decent.
30th Minute Hunt with the restart. Good kick there. Fung to contest the ball for Tarts... And great catch under pressure from Fung. Fung offloads to Cribb who evades a swinging tackle from Welker. Cribb to Miokovic in a bit of a tight midfield here. Astele is there, but Miokovic somehow gets away from him. Miokovic to Herd who spots a hole. Backhanded pass to Ames on the run who passes back to Herd on the wrap around. Lovely movement from the Tarts team here. 10m inside Cambridge territory as Herd passes out to James. There’s no room for James there who hesitates in front of Morris. Morris takes him out but James drops the ball. It’s called backwards, and Orr is there to clean up the scraps. He slips through a tackle from Farnsworth and passes a cut-out ball away to Ames who’s slowed down by Denton. Ames doesn’t want to be tackled here and gives the ball away to James. James with nowhere to go so he passes to Torres who attempts to smash through the defensive line to no avail. He bounces off the defensive line and attempts a pass to Ames. The referee has called that forward. Scrum to Cambridge. All that attacking endeavour for nothing as the first half clock ticks down.
Whoops. My fault, not the sim's. The sim tells me the position, not the player name, so I have to look it up and I fucked up... ...Bakkum with the feed. But what’s this! Superb contact from the Tarts as they rumble over the ball line. Surely that was an early engagement, but the ref hasn’t spotted it! Tarts take the ball out and Herd bursts through as the Cambridge forwards try to reassemble. Deep inside the Cambridge 22 now, but Herd has been slowed. Just inches from the line, Herd at the bottom of the ruck, but Cribb can see clean ball. Where is this ball going? Clough running through from nowhere – Cribb to Clough who smashes into Hunt. Hunt’s arms and legs flailing desperately for air as Clough runs over the top of him. TRY TO THE TARTS! Successfully converted by Ames 14 – 5 to the Tarts. Great build up play there. Tarts: Tries: Fung, Clough Conversions: Ames x 2 Cambo: Tries: Verigotta
39th Minute. Good play from the ball carrier, Cambridge there. Tackled soundly by Manera, but rolled quickly and plenty of his team mates around to secure the ball. The ball is slow coming out, but Denton at the back of the ruck picks and goes round the fringe. That’s caught the Tarts by surprise as a daydreaming James is pushed out of the way. Great progress from Denton who easily pushes back Tom Clough. Denton losing momentum offloads to the supporting Gemmell. Gemmell only a couple of metres from the line, but there’s plenty of Tarts bodies around here in a strong defensive line up. That’s the siren for half time, but can the Cambridge team let this pressure tell?
