...but Ged King comes across, dives and takes Fung's legs away. He hits the ground hard and the ball comes out of his hands. Knock on, just 2m shy of the try line and with no other defender around. Scrum to Cambridge with 2 minutes left on the clock.
78th Minute Scrum to Cambridge. They push back firmly gaining a few metres more for their kickers to use. The ball comes to Hunt who kicks for touch, but slams it into the back of one of his own players. That takes the pace off, but the ball continues forward and out of play 10m from the Cambridge try line.
The Tarts secure the ball from the line out. And Ames attempts a cheeky crossfield ball with less than a minute left on the clock. He hits it too well and it rolls into the Cambridge try area where Son dots it down for a 22m drop out.
Hunt kicks the ball downfield where Fung allows it to bounce. Bad idea, it's skimmed off into touch for a line out. There can't be much time left on the clock at all now. Izzet with a good line out ball for the Tarts. The ball is quickly spread out wide to Herd who is then tackled by Denton. Plenty of Tart bodies around to support Herd and clean ball is obtained. Cribb extracts the ball with ease. Cribb to Orr. Orr with quick hands to Green. Green out wide to James.
...and the Tarts have the overlap! There's no King to save the Cambridge XV this time, and James slides down in the corner. TRY TO THE TARTS! 22 - 22 with the Conversion attempt to come... Ames lines up the kick as the siren goes for full time. No pressure, lad.
Ames converts and the Tarts fans are in raptures!!! Tarts 24 - 22 Cambridge Tarts TTs Tries: Fung, Clough, James Conversions: Ames x 3 Penalties: Ames x 1 Cambridge XV Tries: Verigotta x 2, Son, Farnsworth Conversions: Hunt x 1
Fuck. That's a real snatch & grab. According to the Stats, Cambo spent 20 minutes in the Tart 22. 20 fucking minutes. You could say great defence from the Tarts, I guess, but Hunt's place kicking cost them at the end of the day.
