i think the score reflects on how young the team is, as soon as the score started getting too much they put there heads down and stopped trying. they didn't have any fight left in them.
Kenny, Te'o and Gillett were our best today Kenny, 15 runs for 155 meters, 33 tackles, 1 try assist and 7 tackle breaks (unfortunately he still missed 8) Te'o, 12 runs for 131 meters, 15 tackles, 8 tackle breaks, 1 line break, only 1 missed tackle and played the full 80 mins. Gillett, 9 runs for 71 meters, 20 tackles, 1 try assist, 5 tackle breaks, 3 missed tackles and a try. honorable mention to McCullough.
Te'o was actually good. Pretty surprising. The wider he plays the better he plays IMO; time to convert him into a centre.
Yeah he was dominant last season when he was going wide except people ripped on him because Hodges wasn't able to touch the ball as much. Definitely want him as a centre.
Kenny's defence was deplorable. Really, not good. Certainly didn't need the stats to derive that fact.
Lol I actually specifically looked at the time when I posted it and the game was done and dusted in NSW. Forgot about QLD but tbh \_/ to them anyway.
Gillett is quickly becoming my favourite player. I loved that pass he gave to Winterstein for the no-try. And the bomb he chased down and almost scored by running over McKinnon.
