    Why is there a queue ffs?

    Who decided on this law that we can only have one game at a time? What's the fucking point?

    All it means is that people end up having to run games after they've stopped having time or lost interest and we get non-starters.

    WHY

    The reason queues form in real life is because only one person can get served/seated/whatevered at a time.

    This is a forum, not a fucking service counter. There's isn't a finite amount of thread resource we have to ration. Are you all just winding me up?

    I do agree with what Howe is saying.

    If someone else is wanting to run a game why don't they get it started now? BSG is coming to a close by the looks of things and there is no other game running. If there have been people sitting about waiting to start games they should be able to just get started as soon as one finishes.

    I'm not saying there should be half a dozen running at once but a couple is fine IMO.

    Firstly, BSG has hardly started. Secondly, Eds is highlighting that even if we run multiple games, there are others on the list that have been waiting to run a game, and that it isn't fair for Howe to replace them just because he believes there should be multiple games running parallel to each other. Even if we do accept that multiple games running parallel is fine, it's only fair to give those who have been waiting first choice.

    Well it's bloody obvious. Imagine playing 10 different games concurrently. It's just going to dilute the quality of attention to individual games.
